The band emerged from the underground German rock scene with a very original and eccentric album called "Phallus Dei" ().

Hexagram is an excellent song, and an obvious highlight from their self-titled album. Also, I was honestly very surprised by the clever references to the Israeli/Palestinian conflict used in this song. The Deftones definitely show maturity higher than most of their Alternative Metal contemporaries here.
