Jan 03,  · Amon Düül II. Discussion in 'Music Corner I still enjoy me some ADII, particularly Yeti, Tanz der Lemminge, Wolf City and even some of the mid period efforts like Vive la Trance and the unaccountably I have complete collections on both LP and CD. When ever I ask in record stores about them I'm always told that wherever something comes.

Amon Düül II's drummer Peter Leopold died on 8 November A memorial service was held for Leopold in Munich, where the remaining members of Amon Düül II sang a song for him. Leopold was replaced by multi-instrumentalist Daniel Fichelscher, for many years guitarist and drummer of Krautrock group Popol Vuh. [7].

Dec 08,  · Amon Düül II Vive La Trance. A morning excuse () Fly United () Jalousie () perhaps a clever nod to the album's title. "Vive La Trance" is actually a pretty solid album. It gets knocked around a bit for embracing traditional song structures and perhaps appealing to straights but there's nothing inherently wrong.

's VIVE LA TRANCE is a solid album from German psychedelic/prog pioneers Amon Duul II. The band's roots extend back to the early days of the progressive movement, in a late 60s political/musical commune in Munich/5(17).
